Okay I know, some of us haven’t even flossed the turkey out of our teeth and others with seemingly lunatic perfectionist tendencies, have already embarked on a full on frenzied ‘New Year/New Me’ self improvement campaign.

Surely there is a kinder and more balanced approach?

Yes. Thankfully with correct understanding and skilful mindfulness practise or ‘way of being’, we can experience the relief that these ancient teachings were designed to give us. This really isn’t yet another thing to achieve.

Why not join me at the Shelley Theatre on 26th January where we will focus on how we can incorporate Mindfulness and Meditation skilfully into our days, WITHOUT it becoming yet another pressure and flamin’ thing to add to our to do list.

During the course of 2019, these monthly workshops will include key elements of the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Cognitive Therapy teaching models, as well as the Insight Meditation method used by world leading mindfulness teacher and clinical psychologist Tara Brach.

Lyn O’Donnell is an Accredited professional MBSR/MBCT teacher and expert in all matters mindful and most importantly, a keen advocate for erm ……. normalising it.
Ps – bring a yoga mat and blanket if you would like to practise lying down. Optional and rather yummy.

Tickets are £15 via the Shelley Theatre or on the door.
